It's been a while since I've done it, and even longer since I've done it with any consistency. And none of that means that this will be a more consistently written blog, either. It's something that I'd like to do regularly, as I quite enjoyed blogging when I started way back in 2005. Imagine the archives I'd have if I'd kept it up.
For a long time, I considered the process of blogging as a way for me to sort out the chaos in my mind. Now, I have come to realize that it's more like vacuuming the path that winds through the house of a hoarder. Doesn't make a huge difference, yet clears a little of the inconsequential debris.
It also gives me a sense of accomplishment and an overview of a process. That's how it is: I'm in a process. Sometimes my progress is forward. Sometimes, not so much. At least with a written record, I have an idea of what not to do. Yep, I try to not make the same mistakes twice. I generally make all news ones. Very, very good at finding new ones to make.
This seems a good point to come up with a fantastic summary sentence.
